Positive Thinking and it’s Power

Positive Thinking as defined by Remez Sasson “Positive thinking means expecting, believing, and visualizing what you want to achieve. It means seeing in your mind’s eye the thing you want, as an accomplished fact.” Positive Thinking is a mental attitude that admits ideas, words and images conducive to growth, expansion and success into the mind. The most important mental principal ever discovered is that you become what you think about most of the time. Your outer world reflects your inner world. You can tell the inner condition of a person by looking at the outer conditions of his or her life. And it cannot be otherwise.

There are many aspects that can pull the trigger like violence, culture of destruction, consumerism, and pessimism. World is getting old and worse when filled with that kind of person. Not everyone believes in the concept of Positive Thinking. Some may consider it as nonsense, and others may just scoff at people who believe in it. But again those who believe in it, not really knowing how to use it effectively. It is quite common to hear people say: “Think positive”, to someone who feels down and worried. Most people do not take these words seriously, as they do not know what they really mean, or don’t consider them as effective. How many people do you know, who stop to think what the power of positive thinking means?

So the first thing is to change your perception about Thinking Positively, and you will eventually see the reflection of what you believe. Here’s I have defined what Positive Thinking can lead you to or The Power of Positive Thinking.

Believing in Yourself

 How many times have you denied yourself? How many times have you said “I can’t do this”? OR How many times have you doubted yourself if you are capable or not. And how many times have you left an opportunity just by not having trust in yourself!

If you think positively, you gradually see that you have believed in yourself, that you no longer deny the ability that lies in you, that you are no longer scared of the fears you had in your mind. And so, you will have higher confidence and your self-esteem and Charisma will increase too.

A Positive Driven Attitude

Is your glass half-empty or half-full? How you answer this age-old question about positive thinking may reflect your outlook on life, your attitude toward yourself, and whether you’re optimistic or pessimistic. We experience pleasant and happy feelings. This brings brightness to the eyes, more energy, and happiness. Our whole being broadcasts good will, happiness and success. Even our health is affected beneficially. We walk tall, our voice is more powerful, and our body language shows the way we feel. We affect and are affected by the people we meet. This happens instinctively and on a subconscious level, through words, thoughts and feelings, and through body language.

We are known by the company we keep so when you change your perception of things that appear to be negative and turn them into positive perception so you not only affect yourself but also the surrounding people. Things that once turned you down won’t even budge you now because you will control the surrounding negativity.

So by thinking positively, your attitude will automatically turn to positivity. 

Increased Chances of Success

Do you expect a successful outcome of your actions? As we talked about having faith in yourself with a positive driven attitude, it all counts up and increases your chances of success. Let’s say if there’s a person who always thinks negatively and never in his life has he appreciated his abilities. He is less likely to be accepted at the job interview because the company needs positive people. If that person believes “I can do it”. He will end up getting the job and getting further and further with the technology and time-span.

You do not believe what, but you see what you already believe. Positive thinkers do not give up on their dreams and do not give in to obstacles. They continue with their efforts until they get the results they want. They look at failure as a lesson instead of failure because a person grows only when he fails.

Reduces Stress 

Imagine stress as fire, and all other negative and unhealthy conditions such as sadness, anger, sleeplessness, depression, anxiety, and addiction as the smoke. Extinguish the flames and the smoke will dissipate. Fan the flames, and the smoke will thicken. So choose wisely, because you can only make the choice from your side.

Thinking positively can really reduce the stress and the pressure you are in and will make you healthy and happy. You will tackle problems alone with nobody’s help. It won’t matter how hectic your life is, how busy your schedule is. But what matters is that your inner peace rules over stress and that what most people are in search of.

Better Flexibility

Flexibility refers to our ability to cope with the changes and problems. People who are resilient can face a trauma or crisis with strength. They also find the solution much faster. Rather than falling apart in the face of such stress, they can carry on and eventually overcome such adversity. It may be no surprise that Positive Thinking plays a major role in making us Flexible. Researchers have also found that in the wake of a crisis, such as a terrorist attack or natural disaster, positive thoughts and emotions encourage thriving and provide a sort of buffer against depression among resilient people.

When you change the thoughts that you often think you change your life. So everything is possible but just you need to throw a little light upon yourself whether you want to adopt the perception of Positive Thinking and see its Power and discover the whole lot of happiness
