There are many people out there who have no idea how important it is to read. In today’s world, according to Pew Research Center, more than a quarter of 27% of U.S grown-ups say that they did not read even a part of a book in the last year.

They all had a habit of reading. So if you want to be a genius and the smartest person in the room, you need to read as many books as you can. There are millions of books out there and if I ask you one question “how many books have you read in total? You would get the answer to how much water you are in. People often ask; what is the need to read when it’s time wasting and if you want to read, read something useful?

We often get ideas from them about how they tackled that situation, and then we do the same sometimes. Reading novels enhances our analytical thinking and improves your mind to open and to look at all aspects of a situation in actual life as well. Thus, you get insight of far more imaginative power than you had before reading.

You may come across a few words that you quite don’t understand, and then you look it up on the internet. This discovery of unfamiliar words that you don’t know leads you to expand up your vocabulary. Imagine, if you read hundreds of books, how big would your vocabulary library be?
When you read books, you get through many pages and thus collect new bits of information at every turn and store it in your mind. The more knowledge you have, the better you can tackle any life challenge that you are likely to face. Once you gain the information, no one can take it from you and it will be present for life-time for you.

Rita Carter, in her Ted Talk, said that many stressed people joined a group where they would read books and novels and would do discussions on that topic. They found it; they were getting happier and happier day by day.
Reading also lowers your stress. There are many stories out there that books related to the business and finance field helped many adults to get through their life and increase technology. While those who direly needed
psychologists and psychiatrists, needed self-improvement books. Which enabled them to understand the law of universe which states that what you attract will be given to you.
